The Trattoria da Peppino - Ritrovo degli Artisti
A typically Neapolitan restaurant! During my last visit, I happened to arrive on a clam delivery day and enjoyed superb pasta "alle vongole". Don't miss their delicious antipasti, which are only produced with seasonal vegetables. If you're there at the right time, try the friarielli (broccoli-turnip), a Naples vegetable which is rather similar to spinach. In June, a sagre della salsiccia e friarielli (an Italian popular festival) in the town is dedicated to this vegetable and its best accompaniment :"salsiccia" (sausage).
